End of the world and cosmology

Because Earth has lost its central position in the world view and even the Milky Way galaxy is only one among millions there is difficulty in combining Biblical geocentric end of the world visions with modern cosmology.

Fiery end of the world scenarios therefore concentrate on Earth only rather than the deep space although New Testament talks about stars falling from the sky (geocentric world).

On the other hand, modern science is calculating end of the world scenarios for the entire Universe such as the burning out of Sun or other ways life ends on Earth.

The time scales in modern scientific theories are somewhat larger then the Biblical message that end is near!

And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.
